Vailia · in development for Windows
Your privacy,
your rules.
Vailia is a local-first AI assistant that lives on your computer. It is being built to take on real work for you across your apps, messages, schedule and devices, and to keep what it learns about you under your control.
There is no public download yet. This page says what exists and what is being built, and keeps those apart.
What works today
The current Windows application, running on the owner's own machines.
Dictation
Speak and have it typed, with the speech recognition running on your computer.
Rewrite
Select text anywhere and have it rewritten, in your voice or a different one.
Read aloud
Natural on-device text-to-speech for anything on screen.
Chat
A conversation with a local model, or an optional hosted model you choose to connect.
Voice assistance
Talk to it and hear it answer.
Protection
Controls for your microphone, speakers and display, so the assistant never has more access than you gave it.
Where it is going
A direction, not a shipping claim. Each of these is built and tested before it is called available.
A representative, not a chatbot
Vailia is meant to explain what it will do, do it across your computer and applications, check the result, recover when something goes wrong, and report back, so you can ask for an outcome in ordinary language.
Conversations that connect
A declared bet under test: assistants that talk to each other and to people in shared rooms, and a company of AI workers that you own and run.
Privacy by default
- Speech recognition, text-to-speech and the local language model run on your computer.
- Hosted models and provider integrations are optional, and they connect only when you start them.
- On first launch Vailia installs the on-device assets it needs and verifies each download against its manifest before using it.
- This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other sites.
